Coralie Bickford-Smith’s book cover designs for the Penguin UK Great Food series. Each illustrated cover is specifically inspired by patterns found on ceramic plates or bowls from the appropriate time period. Bickford-Smith collaborated with lettering artist, Stephen Raw, and worked closely with Penguin’s Picture Editor, Samantha Johnson, for research.
